What: Berkeley Juggling and Unicycle Festival Public Show
When: Saturday 9/30, 7:30 PM
Where: King Middle School theater
How Much: $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12
Last year, we put on a fantastic public show replete with local talent, and this year we're looking to out do that effort. We've put together an amazing cast of local performers and some visiting pros. Names like Frank Olivier, Scot Nery, Matt Hall, Kaori Matsuzawa, Imam, Jake Abernathy, Earthcapades, the Standford Juggling Research Institute, and many others.
The Variety Show will be family friendly and open to all ages. All show proceeds are put towards the (significant) costs of hosting the Berkeley Juggling and Unicycle Festival. Aside from showing up with a smile on your face, attending the Public Show is the single best thing you can do to support this festival and ensure that we can all come back, year after year.
Would you like to perform in the Public Show? We're looking for a number of small, simple (read: no stage setup) acts to fill the gaps between performers. If you're interested, contact us or just talk to us at the registration table on Saturday to sign up!
Psssst... renegadeshowYou didn't hear it from me, but there will be an amazing collection of local performers gathering Friday night at the Tinker's Workshop for a no-admission-fee, no-holds-barred Renegade Show courtesy Frank Olivier! Come expecting to see odd, hilarious and perhaps even disturbing acts... best to leave the kids home for this one! The Renegade Show will start a little before 11pm at the Tinker's Workshop on Friday night; find it on your own, or come by the Festival on Friday evening for directions.
